Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Galaxy Nexus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Elbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elbe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Iron Man - Ozzy Osbourne. Gray Elbe acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gray Elbe!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nexus lands a glancing blow to the side of Elbe's head.
Nexus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Elbe's head backwards.
Elbe tries to clinch up
and Nexus counters with a nice body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Nexus has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Elbe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nexus wants to sweep here but Elbe controlling him for the moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elbe is fighting to break Nexus's control of his arms but Nexus is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Elbe drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nexus dives on top into guard.
Nexus chips away with some ground and pound.

Elbe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nexus has picked Elbe up and slammed him! Elbe can't keep hold of the triangle and Nexus manages to pass to side control!

Nexus connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Elbe some visible discomfort.

Galaxy Nexus decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
