Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Kilpinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Recksun comes into the arena with Eye of the Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jaakko Kilpinen enters the cage!

17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Recksun moves out of range of the leg kick from Kilpinen. Hugh Recksun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kilpinen lands a head kick!
It looks like Hugh Recksun has been cut. No joy there for Recksun, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kilpinen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Both fighters circling a little - Kilpinen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kilpinen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Kilpinen cracks Recksun with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kilpinen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kilpinen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Recksun blocks it with crossed arms. Recksun pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Recksun catches Kilpinen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kilpinen connects with the punch. Recksun looks to land a combination but Kilpinen avoids it well. Recksun has managed to clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kilpinen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
