Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Hu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Hu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ricky Hu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Vega!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega shoots in for a double leg but Hu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vega shoots in and drives through. Hu sprawls well.
Hu stuffs the takedown attempt from Vega. Vega gets slowly back to his feet.
Ricky Hu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Vega.
Hu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hu scores with a one two! Vega had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Chad Vega has been cut.
Hu displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hu lands a glancing blow to the side of Vega's head.
Vega looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hu is fending him off so far but Vega persists. Nope, Hu circles away and we're back to standing.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hu.
No luck for Vega with that takedown attempt.
Vega on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vega looks winded!
Hu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hu duly obliges.
We've been told by Hu's head coaches at Warrior MMA and Fitness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hu lands a jab.
Vega is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hu is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Vega.
Vega takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vega looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hu.
Vega takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hu lands a nice hook to Vega's body. Vega takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Vega shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hu defends it nicely.
Hu sends Vega crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hu is motioning to the referee to let Vega up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Vega is rocked!

Vega is still on wobbly legs! Can Hu finish him?
Vega chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hu can pounce on him.
Vega seems to have recovered his senses.
Vega fails with the takedown
and Hu counters with a crisp one two that drops Vega! Hu thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vega to his feet! Vega is in big trouble!
Vega is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A shot to the liver by Hu. Beautiful body shot.
Ricky Hu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oooooh!!! Hu has knocked Vega down with a huge combo! Hu steps away and waves a wobbly Vega back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Vega has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hu.

Hu drops Vega with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vega looks back up at him and smiles so Hu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vega drops his hands momentarily. Hu doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Vega staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Vega doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ricky Hu!
Our winner, Ricky Hu, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
