The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lutuka shoots and misses
and Karhula counters with a nice body shot.

and Karhula counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tero Karhula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Misuaksual Lutuka.
Karhula thuds his right hand into Lutuka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Misuaksual Lutuka has been cut.
Karhula throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Karhula comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karhula tries to advance to mount but Lutuka denies him.
Lutuka tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Karhula wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lutuka is trying to buck Karhula off.

Lutuka takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karhula tries to move to mount but Lutuka blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karhula in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Karhula scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lutuka to see if he's OK.

Karhula wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lutuka keeps working.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Karhula lands a big shot there that rocks Lutuka but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Karhula cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Tero Karhula decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
