Lodbrok kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name of.... The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Givens throws a head kick but Lodbrok moves out of range.
Givens has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Lodbrok has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lodbrok has Givens pressed against the cage, preventing Givens from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lodbrok gets through Givens's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lodbrok lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Lodbrok unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Givens! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Lodbrok is unloading with more strikes now! Givens drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivar Lodbrok!
An out of breath Ivar Lodbrok thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
