1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arturas Rudokas! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rudokas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bautista counters with a two punch combo. Rudokas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bautista did well to prevent Rudokas getting side control. Rudokas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bautista is defending against the submission attempts here by Rudokas.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rudokas lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rudokas seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bautista avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rudokas. Rudokas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rudokas wants to take a breather but Bautista is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rudokas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bautista is refusing to be controlled, as Rudokas sits in half guard. Bautista is looking to escape. Rudokas moves nicely into side control. Rudokas wants to control but Bautista is keeping him busy. Rudokas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bautista has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rudokas tries for a kimura but Bautista is defending well. Rudokas advances to mount. Rudokas looking to control but Bautista is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bautista is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rudokas locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bautista is forced to tap!
