Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Kurse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Dijkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurse kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Counting Stars - OneRepublic. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abraham Kurse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Dijkman! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dijkman misses with a wild body shot. Kurse staying out of range there. Kurse slips a jab from Dijkman. Dijkman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Dijkman throws a body punch but Kurse moves out of range. Dijkman lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Dijkman lands with a cross. This has been an exciting period of action! Dijkman avoids the body shot from Kurse.
Dijkman misses with a double jab.
Dijkman takes a swing at Kurse's ribcage but misses. Kurse's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dijkman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kurse scrambles back to his feet. Dijkman throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dijkman throws a combination. Kurse tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Abraham Kurse has been cut. Dijkman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Dijkman misses the jab. Kurse showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dijkman.

Dijkman misses with a straight left. Dijkman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dijkman throws a looping overhand right but Kurse ducks down to avoid it. Dijkman thows a left - swing and a miss! Dijkman is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Kurse clinches up with Dijkman and pushes him back against the cage. Kurse is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dijkman gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dijkman gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kurse regains guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dijkman wants to get up but he can't break Kurse's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kurse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dijkman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kurse looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kurse has a closed guard, preventing Dijkman from standing up. Kurse might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kurse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dijkman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dijkman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kurse is proving hard to escape from.
