Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodel Bartillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Nomak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Nomak is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodel Bartillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Nomak!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomak swats away the attempt to clinch by Bartillo.
Nomak throws a leg kick but Bartillo moved away.
Nomak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nomak finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nomak dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bartillo. That did some damage!
Nomak tries a low kick but Bartillo avoids it.
Bartillo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from Nomak.
Nomak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nomak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bartillo swings for the body but Nomak moves out of range.
Nomak fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nomak scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bartillo doesn't seem bothered though.
Nomak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bartillo.
Bartillo misses with a jab to the body
and Nomak counters with an inside leg kick.
Bartillo has managed to clinch.
Nomak prevents the takedown attempt.
Bartillo tries to stall but Nomak uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Nomak drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bartillo pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bartillo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nomak moves away.
Nomak misses with a takedown attempt
and Bartillo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bartillo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nomak keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bartillo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nomak tries to roll over but Bartillo keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bartillo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bartillo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nomak is not content to let Bartillo control the position.
Bartillo is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nomak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Nomak is trying to stand up here but Bartillo is controlling him well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nomak can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bartillo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nomak doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bartillo.
Bartillo is looking for a kimura but Nomak is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bartillo to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodel Bartillo dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bartillo blocks a leg kick.
Nomak lands a leg kick that knocks Bartillo off balance momentarily.
Nomak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nomak tries for a takedown but Bartillo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bartillo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bartillo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nomak has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bartillo has an Americana. Nomak didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bartillo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bartillo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
