Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arstan Selmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Busters Back. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry swings for the body but Selmy moves out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cherry has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cherry has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Cherry uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Selmy has time to react.

Selmy drops back looking for a leg! Cherry is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cherry manages to kick Selmy off! Selmy jumps back into Cherry's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arstan Selmy.
I think Cherry has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
