Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chil Pal Gu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Nile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nile has chosen Walk Like An Egyptian as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gu throws a low kick but Nile avoids it.
Gu checks a low kick from Nile.
Nile's coach down at Men of Mayhem (1 TPL, 6 DBL, 5 SGL)(55 member cap) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nile's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nile throws a head kick but Gu moves out of range.
Gu misses with a straight left.
Nile misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nile throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gu throws a right hand that Nile ducks under and follows up with a left that Nile also avoids with ease.
Nile fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gu is out of range.

Gu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nile moves out of range as Gu strikes.
Nile uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gu.

Gu takes a swing at Nile's ribcage but misses.
Gu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nile napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nile wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Nile is trying to control Gu's posture but Gu avoids it.

Gu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nile is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Nile avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gu.

Gu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
An elbow from Gu crashes against the mat.
Gu throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Nile is looking to regain half guard here but Gu keeps moving and retains side control.

Nile tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gu in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Gu swings around for an armbar but Nile sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gu's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by King Nile.
Gu misses with an uppercut
and Nile counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nile - the referee stops the clock and Gu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nile. Gu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nile lands a head kick!
Chil Pal Gu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slow jab from Gu misses its intended target.
King Nile is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Chil Pal Gu has been cut.
Good exchange - Nile coming out on top.
Nile throws a sloppy head kick and Gu moves out of range easily.

Gu throws a lazy right hand but Nile sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nile ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gu misses with a wild combination.
Good leg kick by Nile there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nile lands a big head kick that sends Gu tumbling to the mat! Nile takes a step backwards and waves Gu back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Nile swings for the body but Gu moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gu is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Nile's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Nile tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A bone on bone clash there as Gu blocks the leg kick.

King Nile seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Nile stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nile wants it to stay on the feet.

Gu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nile fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gu manages to avoid it.

Chil Pal Gu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Nile goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Nile fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gu on the side of the head.

Nile throws a leg kick but Gu sees it coming and moves out of range.
Gu lands with an uppercut that bounces Nile off the cage and back into range.
Nile will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Nile connects with a leg kick. Gu looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Gu is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

An intense looking King Nile took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Go shawty, it's my birthday. We gonna party like it's my birthday. '.
