Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atilla Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atilla Khan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Derrick Hooper's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Derrick Hooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Atilla Khan! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hooper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Khan, pushing him back against the cage. Hooper blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hooper lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Khan or not. Hooper misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Khan.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hooper. Khan manages to break the clinch.
Hooper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan lands a big head kick that sends Hooper tumbling to the mat! Khan takes a step backwards and waves Hooper back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Derrick Hooper has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khan misses with a double jab.
Khan gets caught flat footed, as Hooper shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Khan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Khan working for a triangle but Hooper defends it easily.
Hooper engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hooper passes Khan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hooper in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hooper wants to stand but Khan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Derrick Hooper has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Khan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hooper but Hooper pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hooper throws a sloppy head kick and Khan moves out of range easily. Hooper looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Khan controls Hooper momentarily but Hooper frees himself. Hooper is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hooper dives into side control.
Khan tries to improve position but can't. Khan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Hooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The referee asks Hooper politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hooper prefers to stall for the moment though. Khan struggling a bit here. Hooper scoring with punches from side control. Khan looks winded! Hooper is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Khan's shoulder. That is not cool. Hooper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Khan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Khan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hooper presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hooper lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Khan hang on? Hooper raining down hammerfists from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hooper looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Hooper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Khan is looking to improve his position but Hooper isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hooper scoring with strikes but Khan is staying in there. Hooper scoring with strikes but Khan is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Hooper will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Derrick Hooper's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Khan wants to clinch. Khan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khan fails with the takedown and Hooper counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hooper. A hook to the body from Hooper.
Hooper lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Khan. Khan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Khan jumps into guard, dragging Hooper to the mat.
Hooper decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Atilla Khan seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan doesn't manage to clinch there - Hooper circles away.
Khan is breathing heavily. Khan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hooper counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hooper. Khan tries to pull guard but Hooper forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Khan looking to stall.
Hooper misses with a body punch.
Hooper has Khan pressed against the cage, preventing Khan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan lands with a light punch inside. Khan letting Hooper take a breather here. Khan tries to break free but Hooper pushes him back against the cage. Khan has Hooper pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hooper manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Derrick Hooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Atilla Khan. Khan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hooper just stands there and leans against the cage. Hooper misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Khan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hooper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Khan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Hooper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan is sitting in close to Hooper's body. Hooper has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Khan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Khan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hooper.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Derrick Hooper!
