Newton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is American Badass - Kid Rock. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randolph throws a sloppy head kick and Newton moves out of range easily.
Newton avoids the head kick by Randolph.
Randolph throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Newton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Randolph!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Randolph is trying to get back to half guard.
Randolph takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

A very excited looking Caleb Newton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
