Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wm Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Tarth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wm Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Tarth! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarth throws a leg kick but Hunt sees it coming and checks it nicely. Tarth clobbers Hunt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Tarth connects with a high kick. Hunt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tarth. Tarth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tarth misses with a few strikes there.
Tarth shoots in for a double leg but Hunt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tarth goes for a double leg but Hunt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hunt continues to drive forward. Wm Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Tarth. Hunt lands a body shot. Tarth throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Tarth is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hunt blocks a body shot from Tarth. Come on Hunt - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hunt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarth throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hunt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hunt pulls Tarth into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Tarth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hunt works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hunt trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tarth lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hunt keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Tarth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hunt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tarth's guard. Hunt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tarth is proving hard to escape from. Tarth looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hunt puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tarth is looking to control Hunt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tarth avoid being mounted? Hunt tries to stand and escape but Tarth is controlling the position. Tarth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hunt decides to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarth looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hunt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tarth sprawls well initially but Hunt persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tarth trying to control here.
Hunt not doing much here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hunt blocks a head kick by Tarth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tarth fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hunt, pushing him back against the cage. Hunt stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Tarth pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tarth wants to stand but Hunt is controlling the position. Tarth looks winded! Tarth is trying to control the position from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brian Tarth was stalling too much, according to the referee. Tarth misses the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Wm Hunt will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hunt throws a right hand that Tarth ducks under and follows up with a left that Tarth also avoids with ease. Tarth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Hunt counters with a nice uppercut. Hunt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tarth bucks up and tries to throw Hunt off but instead Hunt has got his back! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Tarth looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarth is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Tarth is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Hunt controlling well, preventing Tarth from escaping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tarth tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Hunt sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Tarth to tap. Impressive finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Wm Hunt!
