Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daanish Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whey Protein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the ring accompanied by Electric six: gay bar . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daanish Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Whey Protein! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Protein takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Khan misses with a combination
and Protein counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Protein in particular looking to stall. Protein throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Khan is trying to stand.
Protein lands strikes from half guard. Protein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Khan keeps working. Protein with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Khan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Protein scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan is not content to let Protein control the position. Protein working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Protein there. Protein misses with a head shot. Khan uses the momentum to regain guard. Protein distracts Khan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Khan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Protein trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Protein throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Protein pushing down on Khan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Protein stands up out of the half guard. Daanish Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Protein forces Khan back against the ropes and clinches. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Protein has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Protein prevents Khan from breaking the clinch. Protein is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Khan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Khan wants to get back to striking at distance but Protein won't allow it.
Khan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Protein lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Protein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Protein fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Khan on the side of the head. Protein lands a jab to Khan's midsection. Protein clinches with his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan wants to break free but Protein has control.

Protein connects with a body shot that sends Khan's belly button to the back. Khan throws a leg kick and Protein counters with a lovely shot to the body. Khan shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Khan throws a series of punches but Protein avoids them all with ease. Khan is breathing heavily. Khan walks into a left hand. We've been told by Khan's head coaches at London Workout that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Protein instigates a clinch. Protein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice shot lands for Protein.
Khan is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan blocks a jab. Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Protein misses with a straight left. Khan seems to have got his legs back now. Protein fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Protein avoids a punch combination nicely.
Protein paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Khan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Protein to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Protein postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Khan covers up, he's hurt! Protein keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Protein and the ref steps in to end the fight! Protein can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Whey Protein!
