Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshido Nakamara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafael Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamara goes for a double leg but Dos Santos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dos Santos continues to drive forward.
Nakamara drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dos Santos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nakamara is defending well for now.

Nakamara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nakamara manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Dos Santos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Nakamara shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dos Santos but Dos Santos pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dos Santos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nakamara looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nakamara tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dos Santos defends well and Nakamara ends up having to push Dos Santos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dos Santos just misses with a elbow thrown towards Nakamara's brow.
