Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylwester Karwowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karwowski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Metallica - Enter Sandman. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 37 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karwowski scores with a decent looking hook.
Kim fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Karwowski avoids it really well and circles away.

Karwowski is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kim has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kim!

Kim drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Karwowski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kim has Karwowski in his guard.

We've been hearing that Karwowski has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Karwowski throws a strike but Kim rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Karwowski defends well.

Karwowski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Karwowski, into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sylwester Karwowski will probably get the nod.
That's time! Karwowski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

My spies in LOD Gym Now with StandUP inform me that Kim has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Karwowski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kim for as long as he can get away with.

Well Karwowski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
