Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Zenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zenin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Helloween - Power. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Vladimir Zenin! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zenin drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Marsh looking for a sweep. Not yet Marsh, not yet. Zenin is pushing down on Marsh's leg trying to pass to half guard. Marsh is fighting to maintain full guard but Zenin has managed to sneak the leg through. Marsh tries to roll over but Zenin keeps him under control. Marsh trying to control but Zenin postures up.
Marsh tries to roll over but Zenin keeps him under control. Marsh desperately trying to maintain half guard. Zenin wants to pass the guard but Marsh is defending well. Marsh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zenin is looking to advance position but Marsh won't allow it.

Marsh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Marsh controlling the position well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zenin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Zenin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Zenin tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Marsh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Marsh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh lands a nice shot to the body.
Zenin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marsh punishes Zenin's body with a nice straight punch. Zenin doesn't manage to clinch there - Marsh circles away.
Zenin cracks a nice hook into Marsh's ribs. Zenin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Marsh throws a hook but Zenin avoids it easily. Marsh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zenin misses with a jab, cross combination.

Marsh tries to break the clinch but Zenin is controlling the position. A head punch on the inside from Zenin fails to land. Zenin misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zenin working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Marsh wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Zenin keeps control of Marsh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Marsh blocks a body shot from Zenin. Zenin misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Zenin fails to land. Zenin throws a head punch that misses. Marsh has had enough of the clinch but Zenin keeps him there for the moment. A short right hand to the side of the head by Zenin. Marsh tries to break the clinch but Zenin is controlling the position. Zenin lands a nice uppercut. Marsh wants a takedown but no success here.

Marsh blocks a body shot from Zenin. A frustrated look appears on Marsh's face as he tries to break the clinch. Zenin misses with some punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zenin tries a body shot but Marsh blocks it.

Marsh wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Marsh is trying to break the clinch but Zenin has him pressed against the cage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Marsh breaks from the clinch.
Marsh dodges the punch combination from Zenin.
Marsh cracks Zenin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Zenin on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zenin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Excellent takedown into side control there by Marsh. Zenin tries to buck Marsh off but Marsh is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zenin keeps trying to improve his position. Marsh tries to move to mount but Zenin blocks the move with his legs. Zenin tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Randy Marsh will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Zenin tries for a takedown but Marsh circles away easily and Marsh counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Zenin! Marsh trying to control the action but Zenin is working from the bottom. Marsh lands a decent elbow from side control. Zenin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Zenin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Marsh looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Marsh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zenin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marsh landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Marsh moves nicely into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zenin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Marsh works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Marsh has knee on belly and moves into mount. Zenin gets back to half guard. Marsh looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. We've been hearing good reports from Marsh's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Marsh frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Zenin is trying desperately to improve position. Zenin regains half guard. Marsh is trying to control. Zenin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zenin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zenin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marsh is working away from the top position though. Zenin is looking to improve his position.
Marsh is trying to control the action in half guard but Zenin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Zenin wants to control but Marsh is keeping busy.
Marsh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zenin's head. Randy Marsh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Marsh is looking to advance position but Zenin won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Marsh avoids the body shot from Zenin.

Zenin has closed the distance and engaged Marsh in a clinch.

Zenin is working Marsh over against the cage. Marsh has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zenin after a bit of a struggle. A frustrated look appears on Marsh's face as he tries to break the clinch. Marsh is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Marsh tries to break the clinch but Zenin is controlling the position. Zenin misses with a short punch on the inside. Marsh is looking to break free of the clinch but Zenin has double underhooks. Marsh has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Marsh wants to break the clinch but can't.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zenin lands with a left to the head. Zenin can't find room to land a body shot as Marsh controls the action.

Zenin lands with a light punch inside. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Marsh can't break the clinch.
Zenin tries to work over Marsh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Zenin has Marsh pressed against the cage, preventing Marsh from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Zenin swings wildly with an uppercut but Marsh uses good head movement to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Marsh dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Vladimir Zenin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zenin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Marsh is not content to let Zenin control the position. Marsh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zenin is working away from the top position though. Zenin is controlling the pace.
Marsh is trying to get back to full guard. Zenin keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marsh is staying active underneath Zenin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Vladimir Zenin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Zenin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marsh circles away. Zenin misses with a double jab.
Zenin shoots in looking for a takedown. Marsh tries to sprawl out of it but Zenin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marsh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Zenin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zenin looks to land a right hand but Marsh moved out of range. Zenin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marsh. Marsh circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nice sprawl there from Zenin as Marsh shoots in. Zenin swings and misses with a shot to the body and Marsh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zenin won't be happy with that. Zenin is looking for a sweep. Marsh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zenin keeps working. Randy Marsh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zenin sneaks back into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Zenin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marsh pulls his head out easily. Marsh trying to control the pace. Marsh seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zenin for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Randy Marsh just wasn't active enough. Marsh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Zenin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Excellent takedown into side control there by Zenin. Marsh struggling a bit here. Zenin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Marsh's shoulder. That is not cool. Zenin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marsh keeps working. Marsh stops Zenin from passing to mount. Zenin is looking to take a break and control but Marsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters take a look at the clock.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Zenin trying to control the action but Marsh is working from the bottom. A lull in the action here. Vladimir Zenin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marsh is trying to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marsh is holding Zenin down, trying to stall. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vladimir Zenin wasn't active enough on the ground. Marsh slips under a jab from Zenin.
And that's the end of the fight! Vladimir Zenin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Marsh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
