Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joao Da Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Seiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seiya has chosen Pegasus Fantasy as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Seiya.
Da Cruz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Da Cruz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Seiya stuns Da Cruz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Joao Da Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Seiya swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Da Cruz.
Seiya lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Seiya has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Da Cruz is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Seiya throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Da Cruz on the side of the head.

Seiya closes the distance and clinches.

Seiya breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Seiya counters with a left to the body.
Seiya ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

letting Seiya counter with a right hand.
Seiya connects with a single shot there.

Seiya takes the fight into the clinch.

Seiya breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Da Cruz has been working on his balance at Titan Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Seiya.

Seiya moves away from the strike by Da Cruz.
Da Cruz throws a sloppy body shot
and Seiya counters with a stiff right hand.
Da Cruz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Seiya counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oh Da Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Seiya counters with a series of strikes. Da Cruz will be more careful next time no doubt.
Seiya stuffs the takedown attempt from Da Cruz. Da Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.
Da Cruz seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Da Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Seiya counters with a crisp right hand that drops Da Cruz! Seiya lets Da Cruz back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Seiya counters with a crisp one two that drops Da Cruz! Seiya thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Da Cruz to his feet! Da Cruz is in big trouble!

and Seiya counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Da Cruz falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
