Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Okin Slavas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yusuke Urameshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slavas comes to the cage accompanied by WolfMother. The crowd seem to be enjoying Urameshi's choice of entrance music: Two Piece by Tech N9ne. Okin Slavas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Okin Slavas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yusuke Urameshi!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urameshi throws a leg kick which misses Slavas's front leg but catches the back leg as Slavas tries to avoid it.
Urameshi wants to clinch.
Urameshi thows a body kick. Slavas tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Slavas misses with a hook. Urameshi ducked under it nicely.
Urameshi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Slavas has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Farrell Pikey Camp in the buildup to the fight.
Slavas swings widly with a right hand
and Urameshi counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Slavas dives in and scores a takedown into Urameshi's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Slavas is pushing down on Urameshi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Urameshi is fighting to maintain full guard but Slavas has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Urameshi is trying to maintain the position but Slavas is very close to passing his half guard.

Slavas wants to control but Urameshi is keeping him busy.
Urameshi dodges the ground and pound from Slavas.
Urameshi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slavas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The strikes coming from Slavas are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Slavas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Urameshi keeps working.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

Urameshi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Slavas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Urameshi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Urameshi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Slavas has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The referee asks Slavas politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Slavas prefers to stall for the moment though.
Urameshi is working to avoid the ground and pound but Slavas connects with a decent elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slavas looks up at the clock and then as Urameshi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Slavas smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Slavas throws a strike aimed at the side of Urameshi's head but Urameshi avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slavas misses with the ground and pound.
The ground and pound from Slavas seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slavas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Urameshi, who protects the arm well.

Urameshi tries to bench press Slavas off him but Slavas keeps the position.
Slavas throws an elbow but Urameshi slips to the side and avoids it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Urameshi is not content to let Slavas control the position.
Slavas tries to advance to mount but Urameshi denies him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Okin Slavas dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Slavas avoids the body shot from Urameshi.
A looping hook to the body misses from Slavas. Urameshi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Urameshi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Slavas throws a lazy right hand but Urameshi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Urameshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Urameshi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slavas.
Slavas connects with a crisp jab.
Urameshi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Slavas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Urameshi - the referee stops the clock and Slavas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Urameshi. Slavas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Urameshi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Slavas's sensitive parts.

Slavas throws a hook but Urameshi avoids it easily.
Nice shot lands for Urameshi.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slavas.
Urameshi throws an overhand right that lands on Slavas's shoulder, as Slavas tries to avoid the shot.

Urameshi scores with a jab. Slavas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Slavas darts in looking for a takedown but Urameshi gets double underhooks and turns Slavas into the cage.

Slavas ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Slavas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slavas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Urameshi manages to get himself to full guard.
Urameshi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Slavas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Slavas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Yusuke Urameshi was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Slavas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slavas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Urameshi's head backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Okin Slavas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Slavas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Slavas is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Slavas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Urameshi.

Slavas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Urameshi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Slavas is in Urameshi's guard.

Are you kidding me?! Slavas ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Urameshi clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Okin Slavas!
A very excited looking Okin Slavas rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
