Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buster Knott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knott's entrance music is Kanye West vs. The xx - Touch The Sky (Carlos Serrano Mix) . A fine choice. Buster Knott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buster Knott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gilbert Smith! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knott keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smith gets the takedown into side control. Knott wants to control but Smith postures up. Smith is looking to take a break and control but Knott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Knott pushes Smith away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Smith gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Smith trying to control the position but Knott is working away. Knott tries to buck Smith off but Smith is having none of it. Knott takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Smith tries to stand but Knott is controlling his head. Smith connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Knott some visible discomfort.
Knott is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knott tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Smith presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Knott wants to control but Smith is having none of it. Knott is trying desperately to improve position. Knott is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action. Knott is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knott tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knott tries to reverse the position but Smith maintains control. Smith avoids the attempt from Knott to control. Smith misses with a head shot. Smith wants to control the pace but Knott is squirming around nicely. Knott is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith wants to stand but Knott is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Knott gets back to half guard. Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Knott does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Knott keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Knott wants to improve his position but Smith is controlling well.
Knott wants to control but Smith is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knott moves into full guard.
Smith postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knott keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Knott has his hands on Smith's head, controlling the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Knott sprawls well. Knott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet. Smith with a lazy takedown attempt and Knott counters with a two punch combo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knott finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
It looks like Gilbert Smith has been cut. Knott clinches. Smith jumps guard but Knott turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Buster Knott will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Gilbert Smith's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Some bone on bone action there as Smith checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gilbert Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith misses with a wild combination.
Oooooh!!! Knott has knocked Smith down with a huge combo! Knott steps away and waves a wobbly Smith back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Smith is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knott lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Smith is looking to close the distance but Knott sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Smith crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Smith is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Buster Knott! Buster Knott decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Gilbert Smith spoke after the fight, saying 'I cane out and gave it my best came up short but ill be back and this time ill be the winner'.
