The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista circles away from the clinch attempt.
Laguera throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Laguera throws a nice looking combination but Batista bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Laguera scores with a leg kick.
Batista looks for a takedown but Laguera sprawls well.
Laguera pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Batista back to the cage. Laguera follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Batista get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Batista stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Laguera runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
