The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godfredson keeps Bertelsen at a distance using the push kick.
We've been told by Bertelsen's head coaches at Titan Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Godfredson has had enough of the clinch but Bertelsen keeps him there for the moment.

Godfredson wants to control the position but Bertelsen says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Godfredson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bertelsen was covering up waiting for the punch and Godfredson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bertelsen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Godfredson is trying to push Bertelsen away but Bertelsen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Helmut Godfredson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Godfredson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
