Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Paguandas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Legere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paguandas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Legere looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Legere holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Legere tries to bench press Paguandas off him but Paguandas keeps the position.
Legere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paguandas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Paguandas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Legere is looking to regain half guard here but Paguandas keeps moving and retains side control.

Legere feints a jab promting Paguandas to slip. Legere then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Paguandas slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Paguandas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Legere gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Legere will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Legere throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paguandas.
Legere lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Paguandas circles away quickly and effectively.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Paguandas.
