Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Just Do It!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Derek Carter has been cut.
Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Do It defends it nicely.
Just Do It seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter drives through and clinches with Do It against the cage.

Carter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Do It looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Do It throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely.

and Carter counters with an inside leg kick.

Do It lands a big right hand that sends Carter crashing to the mat! Do It stays standing though and waves Carter back to his feet!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Just Do It will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Oooooh!!! Carter has knocked Do It down with a huge combo! Carter steps away and waves a wobbly Do It back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Derek Carter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Carter is nestled in close to Do It, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Carter stalling away here and it's allowed Do It to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Do It preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Carter is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Do It pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Do It wants to take the fight to the mat but Carter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Do It is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Just Do It.

and Carter counters with a crisp one two that drops Do It! Carter thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Do It to his feet! Do It is in big trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Do It is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Do It has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carter is proving hard to escape from.
Carter wants to control the position but Do It says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Carter is looking for a sweep. Do It is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Carter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
