Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Dandas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jarek Nadzieja!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dandas closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nadzieja counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dandas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nadzieja counters with a nice uppercut.
Dandas shoots for a double leg takedown but Nadzieja sprawls well. He's pushed Dandas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nadzieja throws out a powerful jab.
Dandas tries to clinch but Nadzieja is having none of it.
Dandas swings widly with a right hand
letting Nadzieja counter with a right hand.

and Nadzieja connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nadzieja scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Nadzieja connects with a body shot that sends Dandas's belly button to the back.
Nadzieja feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dandass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Bruce Dandas has been cut.
Nice body punch from Nadzieja.
Nadzieja lands with a right hand.
Dandas takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nadzieja scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nadzieja lands with a cross.
Dandas swings for the body but Nadzieja moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dandas is defended easily by Nadzieja.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Dandas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nadzieja connects with a single shot there.

Nadzieja scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dandas looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dandas throws out a loose jab but Nadzieja uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Nadzieja counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dandas tries to move into range but Nadzieja moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dandas on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nadzieja lands with a hook. Dandas tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dandas darts in trying to clinch
and Nadzieja counters with a stiff right hand.

Dandas throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nadzieja cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nadzieja keeps the fight on the outside.
Dandas swings widly with a right hand
and Nadzieja counters with a stiff right hand.
Nadzieja connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dandas's hands.
Bruce Dandas's cut is getting worse.
Dandas shoots in looking for a takedown. Nadzieja tries to sprawl out of it but Dandas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nadzieja manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

letting Nadzieja counter with a right hand.
Dandas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nadzieja might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dandas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Nadzieja counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nadzieja tests Dandas's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dandas misses with a few strikes there.
Nadzieja has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dandas looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dandas wants to clinch
and Nadzieja cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarek Nadzieja dominated that round.

Nadzieja lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dandas takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nadzieja lands a big uppercut and Dandas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dandas looks OK. Nadzieja waves Dandas back to his feet!

Bruce Dandas's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Nadzieja counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Nadzieja circles away from the clinch attempt
and Nadzieja connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dandas looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Nadzieja avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dandas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Nadzieja counters with a crisp one two that drops Dandas! Nadzieja thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dandas to his feet! Dandas is in big trouble!
Oh Dandas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bruce Dandas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Nadzieja counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Dandas! He's just covering up as Nadzieja starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

In his post fight interview, Jarek Nadzieja started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
