Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitalie Jimbei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimbei takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kong is looking to clinch but Jimbei is avoiding it.
Kong lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kong looks to land a combination. Jimbei sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kong lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jimbei shoots in and bounces Kong off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

It looks like Jimbei might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Jimbei takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
