Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irving Massimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Potatos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irving Massimo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Potatos!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Massimo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Potatos circles away from the clinch attempt
and Potatos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Potatos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Massimo.
Potatos stuns Massimo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Massimo shoots in and gets a takedown into Potatos's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Potatos is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Potatos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Massimo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Massimo misses with a head shot. Potatos uses the momentum to regain guard.
Massimo looking to sit in guard and control but Potatos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Massimo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Potatos connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Massimo some visible discomfort.

Potatos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Potatos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Potatos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Massimo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Potatos cracks Massimo with a big right hand but Massimo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.


Massimo is rocked!

Potatos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Massimo has escaped the position, nice work there.
Oh Massimo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Potatos scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Massimo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Potatos can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
