Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Bill Annunaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keiji Mutou!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Annunaki looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mutou has a takedown stuffed.
Annunaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mutou keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mutou fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Annunaki misses with a head kick.
Annunaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Annunaki scores with a nice head shot.
Mutou gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Annunaki counters with a thumping low kick.
Bill Annunaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keiji Mutou.
Annunaki throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mutou with a lazy takedown attempt
and Annunaki counters with a good low kick that Mutou was not able to check.

Mutou slips a jab from Annunaki.
Annunaki wants to clinch

and Mutou decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Annunaki's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Annunaki is pulling down on Mutou's head. It's preventing any offense from Mutou, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutou in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mutou forces his way into half guard.
Mutou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mutou not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Annunaki trying to control from the bottom.
Mutou works his way into full mount!
Annunaki can't escape the position.

Mutou working the ground and pound effectively.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Annunaki's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Mutou lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Annunaki hang on?
Annunaki avoids a series of strikes thrown by Mutou.
Annunaki is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Mutou connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Mutou working the ground and pound effectively.
Mutou breaks from Annunaki's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mutou is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Annunaki really wants to buck Mutou off and get back to his feet.
BOOM! Mutou connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mutou is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Annunaki can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Annunaki is working to get back to half guard.
Mutou postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Annunaki badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mutou around the waist but Mutou pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mutou is the winner by TKO! Mutou jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keiji Mutou!
Keiji Mutou really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Meet the Future logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
