Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Ankudinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankudinov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I must break you.. Eric Ankudinov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Ankudinov! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ankudinov tries to clinch but Adams is having none of it. Adams tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ankudinov defends well and Adams ends up having to push Ankudinov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Adams is working for takedown but Ankudinov is calmly controlling the position for now. Ankudinov is trying to pull guard but Adams turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Adams gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Adams throwing shots but Ankudinov is blocking nicely. Adams is trying to control the action in half guard but Ankudinov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Adams keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Adams tries to pass to full mount but Ankudinov defends it. Ankudinov misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Adams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ankudinov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Adams is pressing down on Ankudinov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ankudinov is holding on for now. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ankudinov can do anything to dispel that myth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Adams throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ankudinov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ankudinov is looking to escape.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ankudinov defends it well. Adams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adams frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Adams with the ground and pound from mount.

Ankudinov tries to hold on but Adams pushes him away. Adams looking for a guillotine from mount but Ankudinov is having none of it. Ankudinov is in a horrible position here. Adams smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Adams stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Ankudinov misses with a body kick. Adams gets a clinch. Adams tries for a takedown. No joy.

Adams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ankudinov pulls him back up using the underhooks. This has been an exciting period of action! Adams has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ankudinov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Adams gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ankudinov.

Ankudinov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ankudinov wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Adams is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Adams is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Nonprofit Vegas Elite $50 ($1000 value) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Ankudinov seems keen to control Adams's posture. Adams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ankudinov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adams paws at him with a jab and circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Adams. Adams fails with the takedown. Ankudinov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ankudinov looks for a takedown but Adams sprawls well. Adams looks for a takedown but Ankudinov sprawls well. Adams darts in looking for a takedown but Ankudinov gets double underhooks and turns Adams into the cage. Ankudinov is trying to drag Adams to the mat but Adams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ankudinov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adams swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ankudinov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Adams is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ankudinov drops an elbow to the side of Adams's head. Ankudinov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adams is refusing to be controlled, as Ankudinov sits in half guard. Ankudinov misses with a head shot. Adams uses the momentum to regain guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Adams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Ankudinov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ankudinov landing a few strikes. Ankudinov looks up at the clock and then as Adams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ankudinov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ankudinov wants to control but Adams is keeping him busy. Ankudinov scoring with punches from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ankudinov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Adams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Ankudinov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Adams struggling a bit here. Adams is not content to let Ankudinov control the position.
