Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beast might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Child O'mine - Guns N' Roses. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wrestling Beast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, CJ Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beast was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilkins. A head kick misses from Wilkins. Wilkins fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beast has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wilkins, right into the meat.
Beast swings away with a leg kick that misses. Wilkins fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Beast is out of range. Beast avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Beast throws a body punch but Wilkins moves out of range. Beast tries to bum rush Wilkins with a series of wild strikes but Wilkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Beast checks a leg kick. Beast looks to throw the jab but Wilkins is out of range. Beast swings for the body but Wilkins moves out of range.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wilkins - that will leave a mark!
Wilkins misses with a low kick. Wilkins throws a series of punches but Beast moves out of range. Beast throws a big shot that misses. Wilkins throws a front kick aimed at Beast's knee but Beast avoids it well. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wilkins has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Beast throws a right hand that Wilkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilkins also avoids with ease. Wilkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beast. Wilkins is looking to slow Beast down with leg kicks. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Beast.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast throws out a powerful jab. Beast looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilkins is just out of range. Beast takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wilkins cracks Beast with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Beast throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilkins. Beast drives through with a takedown into Wilkins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wilkins controls Beast momentarily but Beast frees himself. Beast got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wilkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beast has managed to get both his arms back between Wilkins's legs - danger averted. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beast stopping the sweep attempt from Wilkins. Beast wants to control from the top but Wilkins keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beast with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Beast is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wilkins wants to sweep here but Beast controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilkins keeps trying to improve his position. Wilkins is looking to sweep but instead, Beast has passed into half guard.
Wilkins looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wilkins wants to get back to his feet.
Beast prevents Wilkins from improving his position. Wilkins works his way to full guard. Good work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Beast accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Beast has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Beast makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wilkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wilkins is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wilkins wants to sweep here but Beast controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wilkins working for a triangle but Beast defends it easily.
Beast's corner is telling him to maintain position. Wilkins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Beast! Beast working to try and regain half guard.
Beast sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilkins works his way into side control. You can see the frustration on Beast's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wilkins has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Wilkins lands with a hook. Beast tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. This has been an exciting period of action! Beast lets loose with a powerful body kick. Wilkins will feel that in the morning. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Beast checks a leg kick. Wilkins is looking to score with low kicks. Wilkins tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Beast moves out of range as Wilkins strikes. Wilkins moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A head kick misses from Wilkins. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Beast checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Wilkins throws a head kick that misses. A decent looking body kick lands there for Wilkins. Beast avoids a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
CJ Wilkins dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Beast attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Wilkins throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Wilkins wants to slow Beast down by chopping away at his legs. Beast lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Beast changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wilkins tries a low kick but Beast avoids it. Beast steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Wilkins. That one must have hurt. Beast lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

A nice inside leg kick there by Wilkins. That's going to slow Beast down. Wilkins tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Beast throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilkins's waist but Wilkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beast off to one side. Beast takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
This has been an exciting period of action! Wilkins scores with a head kick.
It looks like Wrestling Beast has been cut. Wilkins with a body punch. A glancing blow. Beast keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Beast jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Beast seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Wilkins lands a front kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkins catches Beast with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A solid leg kick lands there for Wilkins.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beast closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wilkins gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Wilkins is looking to improve his position.
Beast is trying to control the action in half guard but Wilkins is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilkins tries to roll over but Beast keeps him under control. Beast with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Wilkins regains full guard. Nicely done. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beast is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wilkins has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Beast is looking to defend but Wilkins has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Beast! Wilkins pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Beast taps out and this one is all over!
