Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herb Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Ward will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dean paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dean definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dean uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ward.
Ward throws a nice looking combination but Dean bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Herb Dean.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dean, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
