Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junior Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ollie Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe comes to the cage accompanied by The Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Junior Wolfe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Ollie Strauss! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strauss tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wolfe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Strauss darts in and clinches Wolfe up against the cage. Strauss gets a trip takedown into half guard. Strauss is working for a kimura but Wolfe is defending it quite comfortably.
Strauss is working for a submission of some sort.
Strauss looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Strauss throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wolfe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Strauss passes into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Strauss is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Strauss wants to pass the guard but Wolfe is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ollie Strauss was stalling too much, according to the referee. Wolfe jabs Strauss to the body, keeping him at a distance. Strauss tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Strauss fails in his attempt to clinch. Wolfe throws a hook but Strauss blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strauss forces Wolfe back against the cage and clinches. Wolfe softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Wolfe working hard to break the clinch. Wolfe swings wildly with an uppercut but Strauss uses good head movement to avoid it. Strauss has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wolfe after a bit of a struggle. Wolfe lands with a short head shot on the inside. Strauss has Wolfe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wolfe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Strauss changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wolfe fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Junior Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ollie Strauss. Wolfe misses with an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strauss moves into range and clinches up with Wolfe. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Strauss goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wolfe prevents it.

Ollie Strauss dominated that round. That's time! Wolfe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Strauss bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wolfe's head backwards. Strauss tries to clinch up and Wolfe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Strauss wants to clinch up but Wolfe keeps it at a distance. Strauss finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A slow jab from Strauss misses its intended target. Strauss checks the leg kick nicely there.
Strauss closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Strauss tries to pull guard but Wolfe won't allow it.
Strauss drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wolfe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ollie Strauss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wolfe throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Strauss's head.

Wolfe looks to land a left hand but Strauss moved out of range nicely. Strauss shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wolfe pinned against the cage. Wolfe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Junior Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ollie Strauss. Strauss throws an overhand right that lands on Wolfe's shoulder, as Wolfe tries to avoid the shot. Strauss throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Strauss tries to clinch but Wolfe is having none of it. Strauss instigates a clinch. Strauss gets control of Wolfe's arms and successfully pulls guard. Strauss will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Wolfe throws a big right hand that misses. Strauss is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Strauss bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wolfe's guard.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Strauss, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Strauss looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Strauss looking for subs off his back but Wolfe has passed one foot through into half guard.
Wolfe moves nicely into side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wolfe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Junior Wolfe will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Wolfe misses with a low kick as Strauss jumps back. Strauss steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wolfe. Wolfe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Strauss throws out the jab. Strauss tries to clinch but Wolfe is having none of it. Some wild striking there from Strauss.

Wolfe tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Strauss is able to avoid easily. Strauss tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolfe swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wolfe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Strauss momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Strauss is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wolfe is aware though and is defending well. Wolfe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Strauss's guard. Wolfe prevents Strauss from improving his position. Strauss trying to control from the bottom.
Wolfe trying to mount his opponent but Strauss defends it. Wolfe slips a nice elbow through Strauss's hands, connecting with Strauss's forehead. Strauss is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolfe wants to control from the top but Strauss keeps moving. Strauss tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wolfe trying to control but Strauss is working from the bottom. Wolfe postures up and lands a big shot to Strauss's brow. This has been an exciting period of action! Strauss managing to control the position. Wolfe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strauss tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wolfe postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A nice leg kick lands there from Wolfe. Strauss keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Strauss has managed to clinch.
Strauss turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Strauss is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wolfe has escaped the position, nice work there. Ollie Strauss has got the better of the ground game so far. Strauss thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Strauss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolfe is trying to get back to half guard. Wolfe manages to work his way to half guard, despite Strauss's best efforts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Strauss is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wolfe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Strauss. Strauss wants to pass the guard but Wolfe is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Junior Wolfe. I think Wolfe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
