Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, John Mangel and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hancock gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Baxter to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Chauncey Hancock has been cut.
Hancock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Baxter misses with a two punch combination.
Baxter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hancock manages to avoid it.
Baxter tries to bum rush Hancock with a series of wild strikes but Hancock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hancock drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hancock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Baxter, up you get!
Baxter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hancock circles away quickly and effectively.
Baxter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hancock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Baxter misses with a combination
so Hancock counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baxter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Hancock works over Baxter with some ground and pound from guard.

Baxter is trying to keep Hancock in close.
Hancock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Baxter, up you get!
Baxter connects with a solid leg kick.
Hancock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chauncey Hancock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baxter slaps away a takedown attempt from Hancock, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Baxter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hancock has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baxter throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hancock is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baxter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hancock tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baxter defends well and Hancock ends up having to push Baxter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hancock has Baxter pressed against the cage, preventing Baxter from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Baxter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
An inside leg kick lands from Baxter.
Baxter misses with a few strikes there.
Hancock is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Baxter just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Hancock has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryan Baxter!
