The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Choliman is able to avoid easily.
Monroe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Choliman prevents Monroe from improving position.
Monroe is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Choliman is trying to escape and Monroe transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Choliman is forced to tap! Nice work there by Monroe! Very nice indeed!
