The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegas throws the kick towards the body but Gora avoids it.
Gora avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gora closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pegas to the mat! Pegas manages to get full guard.
Gora passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Pegas can't do much from the bottom here.
Gora tries to move into full mount but can't pass Pegas's legs.

Pegas is looking to work some ground and pound but Gora has wrist control.
Gora escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pegas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pegas stays in close to Gora's body and controls the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pegas connects with a leg kick. Gora looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gora throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pegas on the side of the head.
Pegas throws a leg kick which misses Gora's front leg but catches the back leg as Gora tries to avoid it.

Pegas is looking to slow Gora down with leg kicks.

Pegas tries to clinch but Gora moves out of range.
Pegas lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gora takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Gora swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pegas lands a leg kick that knocks Gora off balance momentarily.

Gora turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Gora wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pegas keeps working.

Pegas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Gora seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pegas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gora got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pegas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gora has managed to get both his arms back between Pegas's legs - danger averted.
Pegas has his foot on Gora's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gora works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Elbrys Gora will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Pegas slips a jab from Gora.
Pegas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gora misses with a straight left.
Gora looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gora takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Gora stops Pegas from getting back to his feet.
Gora is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gora is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Pegas as he works his way to full guard.

Pegas is pulling down on Gora's head. It's preventing any offense from Gora, at least for the moment.

Gora is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pegas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Pegas suckers Gora into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Pegas is now in Gora's guard!

Gora had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pegas defends it easily.

A nice leg kick lands there from Pegas.
Gora catches Pegas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gora misses with a few strikes there.
Gora shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gora showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gora, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
