Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Silva tenderised Mullen's leg. Mullen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mullen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Some wild striking there from Silva.
Silva lands with a nice combination. Mullen backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Bill Mullen has been cut.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
Mullen clinches up against the cage.
Silva misses with some punches.
Mullen prevents Silva from breaking the clinch.

Silva wants to stand but Mullen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mullen is controlling him.

Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mullen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silva.
Mullen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Augusto Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mullen slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mullen moves away.

Mullen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mullen stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mullen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mullen pulls guard successfully.
Mullen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mullen lands a decent shot there.

Silva wants to get up but he can't break Mullen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mullen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mullen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Silva is looking to defend but Mullen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Silva! Mullen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Silva taps out and this one is all over!
