Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Gillette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derrick Gillette has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Johnathon Bradshaw's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnathon Bradshaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick Gillette! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradshaw forces Gillette back against the cage and clinches. Gillette manages to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bradshaw is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gillette really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bradshaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gillette tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gillette wants to stand up but Bradshaw is controlling him. Gillette is looking to stand back up but Bradshaw counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gillette. Gillette is defending against the submission attempts here by Bradshaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gillette trying to control from the bottom.
Bradshaw is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gillette has managed to free his arm - good work. Bradshaw is working for a kimura but Gillette is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bradshaw is working for a kimura but Gillette is defending it quite comfortably.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gillette pushes Bradshaw off looking to stand but Bradshaw dives back in and keeps control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gillette wants to improve his position but Bradshaw is controlling well.
Gillette holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Bradshaw is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gillette has managed to free his arm - good work. Bradshaw is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bradshaw looks to score some points with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnathon Bradshaw dominated that round. That's time! Bradshaw's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Bradshaw has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gillette avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gillette breaks from the clinch.
Gillette lands with a nice body kick. Bradshaw really is a fat lump. Gillette slaps away a takedown attempt from Bradshaw, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bradshaw looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bradshaw goes for a double leg but Gillette avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gillette continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnathon Bradshaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gillette holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Gillette has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bradshaw avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bradshaw is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A right hand to the body from Gillette.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gillette pulls guard effortlessly. Gillette is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gillette sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gillette throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gillette controlling the pace. Bradshaw punching from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gillette is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gillette tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bradshaw controls his leg. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Derrick Gillette wasn't active enough on the ground. Nice takedown defense from Bradshaw. No joy for Gillette on that attempt. Gillette throws a head kick that Bradshaw semi-blocks.
Bradshaw fails with a takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gillette wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Gillette rushes Bradshaw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Gillette putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bradshaw in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Gillette pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Derrick Gillette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bradshaw moves into range and clinches up with Gillette. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gillette creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bradshaw goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gillette prevents it.
Gillette lands a good knee to the midsection. Bradshaw won't want to take too many of those. Gillette pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gillette tries to close the distance and clinch but Bradshaw swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Some wild striking there from Gillette.
Johnathon Bradshaw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bradshaw has a takedown stuffed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gillette connects with a high kick. Gillette moves into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gillette's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gillette scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Gillette!
Gillette tries to clinch up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gillette misses with a two punch combination.
Bradshaw dives in for a single leg takedown but Gillette sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gillette fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derrick Gillette showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Bradshaw tries to keep at a distance but Gillette has taken the fight into the clinch. Gillette pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gillette shoots for a takedown but Bradshaw saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bradshaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gillette sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bradshaw somewhat. Gillette misses with a double jab
and Bradshaw counters with a shoot takedown. Gillette fights it but they end up in guard. Gillette looking for a sweep. Not yet Gillette, not yet. Gillette is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gillette utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bradshaw stopping the sweep attempt from Gillette. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gillette can do anything to dispel that myth. Gillette takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradshaw drops back looking for a leg! Gillette is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gillette manages to kick Bradshaw off! Bradshaw jumps back into Gillette's guard. Gillette controls Bradshaw momentarily but Bradshaw frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bradshaw stops Gillette from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Derrick Gillette. Bradshaw tries a low kick but Gillette avoids it. A head kick misses from Bradshaw. Bradshaw moves into range and clinches up with Gillette. Bradshaw misses with a punch to the body.
Bradshaw wants a takedown but no success here.
Gillette breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gillette rushes Bradshaw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Gillette.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gillette's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gillette tries to clinch up but Bradshaw circles away and keeps his distance. Gillette has managed to clinch.
Gillette breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gillette lands a head kick!
Gillette lands with a slapping head kick. Gillette throws a head kick that misses. Gillette is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bradshaw leaves Gillette with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bradshaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gillette buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bradshaw circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gillette tries to clinch up. Gillette stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gillette wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnathon Bradshaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bradshaw moves into the clinch. Bradshaw taking a breather. Gillette manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bradshaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bradshaw throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bradshaw lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Derrick Gillette. I think Gillette has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
