The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shatner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ravenal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Shatner drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shatner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Shatner stalling away here and it's allowed Ravenal to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Shatner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ravenal swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shatner looking to sit in guard and control but Ravenal gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Shatner had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ravenal is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shatner Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ravenal's back instead.

Ravenal is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Shatner off. It looks like it's working - Shatner slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Ravenal displaying calm under pressure there.

Ravenal steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Shatner is out on his feet! Ravenal sets himself and nearly takes Shatner's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
