The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuego closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sweeney quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fuego trying to control the action but Sweeney is working from the bottom.
Sweeney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fuego on the ground.
Fuego is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sweeney really is a fat lump.
Fuego is working for a kimura but Sweeney is defending it quite comfortably.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fuego working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Fuego is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fuego is trying to control. Sweeney wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Sweeney wants to control but Fuego is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fuego is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sweeney is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
