Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Richard Grayson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edward Magalona!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Francis DeMontford and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalona fails with an attempt to clinch.
Magalona looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Magalona throws a head kick that misses.
Magalona avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Grayson tries for a takedown but Magalona sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Magalona connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Left hook, right uppercut from Magalona.
It looks like Richard Grayson has been cut.
Grayson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Magalona on his heels. He'll look to pass Magalona's guard now, I'm sure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Grayson lands a couple of digs.
Grayson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Grayson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Grayson drops back looking for a leg! Magalona is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Magalona manages to kick Grayson off! Grayson jumps back into Magalona's guard.
Grayson works over Magalona with some ground and pound from guard.
Magalona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grayson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Grayson throws a big elbow that misses.
Grayson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Magalona is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Magalona has escaped and now he's on top!
Magalona is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Magalona is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magalona is sitting in close to Grayson's body. Grayson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Magalona is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Magalona is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Grayson.
