Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Crack Pip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Downs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pip misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pip throws a nice looking combination but Downs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pip rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Downs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pip moves in looking to clinch but Downs pushes him off.

Pip sneaks out the side door and pushes Downs away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Downs shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Downs was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Guy Downs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
A bone on bone clash there as Pip blocks the leg kick.

Downs has an Americana. Pip didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Downs is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Downs hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
