The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabogo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Banner.
Mabogo scoring well with a low kick there.
Banner is breathing heavily.
Mabogo tries a head kick but it misses.
Mabogo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Banner checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mabogo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mabogo connects with a solid leg kick.
Mabogo lands with a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mabogo lands a big head kick that sends Banner tumbling to the mat! Mabogo takes a step backwards and waves Banner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Lamont Banner has been cut.
Mabogo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Banner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Banner walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mabogo.
Lamont Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mabogo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mabogo throws a head kick that misses.
Crack! A monster head kick from Mabogo and Banner falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Mabogo!

A less than humble Kenalemodisa Mabogo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
