The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dirty fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Martinez swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Martinez. Dirty shrugs it off though.
Dickie Dirty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Martinez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dirty has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dirty and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dirty moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Dirty makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dirty throws a front kick aimed at Martinez's knee but Martinez avoids it well.

Martinez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Dirty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Martinez working for a triangle but Dirty defends it easily.
Dirty is working Martinez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Martinez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dirty is one step ahead there.

Martinez has his foot on Dirty's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dirty works his way back into a safe position though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dirty has hold of Martinez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Martinez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dirty is working to tighten his grip on Martinez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Martinez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dirty is really squeezing tight and eventually Martinez passes out! Dirty breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
