Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Jimenez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wojtek Dur!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dur throws a head kick that misses

and Jimenez moves into the clinch.
Dur misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dur gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Jan Jimenez has been cut.

Dur putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Jimenez in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Jimenez gets control of Dur's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jimenez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jimenez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dur can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jimenez can't keep his opponent in guard - Dur advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Dur is working for a kimura but Jimenez is defending it quite comfortably.

Dur seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jimenez is looking for a triangle here but Dur uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Dur is looking to take a break and control but Jimenez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jimenez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dur wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dur working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Jimenez tries to buck Dur off but Dur is having none of it.

Dur is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jimenez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jimenez is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dur is controlling him well.
Jimenez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Jimenez throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dur goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jimenez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dur but great work by Jimenez.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Wojtek Dur will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Dur swinging wildly here.
Dur throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dur shoots in but Jimenez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jimenez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dur was well out of range. Poor timing from Jimenez.
Wojtek Dur is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dur moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jimenez shoots in but Dur avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dur turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dur connects with a right that clearly hurt Jimenez. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Dur proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Jimenez collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wojtek Dur!
