Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rod Boone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Jeremy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boone throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jeremy's head.
Jeremy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boone pinned against the cage. Boone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jeremy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Boone counters by moving into the clinch.

Boone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boone manages to pull guard.
Jeremy wants to stand but Boone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Boone is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Jeremy has gone for a leg lock! Boone slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jeremy's guard.

Jeremy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Boone stands up from Jeremy's guard - Boone perhaps looking for a knockout.
Jeremy looks for a takedown but Boone sprawls well.
Rod Boone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Jeremy.

and Boone makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jeremy really felt that one!

Jeremy tries to keep at a distance but Boone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Boone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rod Boone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jeremy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boone pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boone tries to stand and escape but Jeremy is controlling the position.
Jeremy moves into full guard.
Jeremy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jeremy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boone could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jeremy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boone defends well.

Boone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jeremy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boone has managed to get both his arms back between Jeremy's legs - danger averted.
Boone tries to stand but Jeremy is controlling from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Boone's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ron Jeremy will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Boone closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jeremy's guard.

Jeremy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jeremy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boone is aware though and is defending well.

Jeremy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jeremy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Boone frees his head nicely. Oh but Jeremy has switched to an armbar! Boone is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
