Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kris Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kris Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Satoru Kyle! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyle looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Marsh managing to control the position. Kyle tries to stand but Marsh is controlling from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Satoru Kyle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kyle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marsh did well to prevent Kyle getting side control. Marsh controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Marsh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyle seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kyle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Marsh is trying to improve his position. Kyle tries to stand but Marsh controls the position and pulls Kyle into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyle wants to get up but he can't break Marsh's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kyle stops Marsh from standing up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Satoru Kyle wasn't active enough on the ground. Kyle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Marsh is controlling Kyle's posture. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Marsh tries to sprawl but Kyle drives through with a takedown into half guard. Kyle tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Marsh. Kyle tries to stand and escape but Marsh actually recovers to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kyle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marsh wants to control but Kyle postures up. Marsh tries to buck Kyle off but Kyle is having none of it. Kyle tries to stand but Marsh is controlling his head.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kyle. Marsh lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kyle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Marsh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kyle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Marsh is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Kyle looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kyle tries to stand but Marsh is controlling from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Satoru Kyle was stalling too much, according to the referee. A momentary lapse in concentration from Marsh enables Kyle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marsh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kyle tries to stand but Marsh is controlling from the bottom. Kyle is fighting to break Marsh's control of his arms but Marsh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kris Marsh. Marsh pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Marsh counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kyle is lucky that one didn't land flush. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! and Marsh counters with a flying knee. Nice. Satoru Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kyle missing with a left hand there. Marsh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kyle swings widly with a right hand
and Marsh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Marsh. Kyle pushes Marsh back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Satoru Kyle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Marsh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Satoru Kyle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kyle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
