The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darcy lands a really nice looking cross but Lott seems unphased.
Darcy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lott, pushing him back against the cage.
Lott is trying to break the clinch but Darcy has him pressed against the cage.
Darcy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lott lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lott enables Darcy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lott manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lott has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Darcy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Micky Darcy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Darcy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
