Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karl Marx! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marx shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Marx looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Carter tries to hold on but Marx pushes him away. Marx sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Carter really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Carter tries to lock up and control but Marx gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marx putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Carter is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Carter really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Carter holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Marx tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Carter is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Marx really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Carter really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Marx with shots to the head and body - Carter looks very uncomfortable down there. Carter tries to reverse the position but Marx maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carter is trying to stand.

Carter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Marx postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Carter looking to control.
Carter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Marx throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Carter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marx gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Carter looking for a sweep. Not yet Carter, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marx stops Carter from standing up. Marx lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Carter has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Marx off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Marx tries for a takedown but Carter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Carter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Marx. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carter prevents Marx from improving position. Marx controls the position. Carter is not content to let Marx control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Carter slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Carter is trying to control the position but Marx postures up. Marx trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Marx avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Carter wants to sweep here but Marx controlling him for the moment. Carter lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Marx! Carter breaks from Marx's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter landing strikes from the mount and Marx is in trouble! Carter working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Marx looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Carter! Submission of the night perhaps?
