Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Haffaz Aladeen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewart has chosen Frightened Rabbit - The Twist as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Haffaz Aladeen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Archie Stewart!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aladeen throws a front kick aimed at Stewart's knee but Stewart avoids it well.
Stewart misses with a straight left.
Aladeen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Aladeen swinging wildly here.
Stewart just misses with a punch to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Stewart.
Stewart pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Aladeen throws a push kick but Stewart slaps the foot to one side.
Stewart thows a left - swing and a miss!
Stewart checks a leg kick.
Aladeen throws a jab when Stewart was well out of range.
Stewart throws a jab but it's blocked by Aladeen.

Stewart rushes Aladeen and presses him up against the cage.
Stewart tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Aladeen blocks a body shot from Stewart.
Stewart misses with a short punch on the inside.
Stewart jumps guard but Aladeen stands there with Stewart around his waist. Stewart gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Aladeen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Stewart lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Stewart throws a punch but it's blocked by Aladeen.
Stewart tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Stewart tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aladeen's elbow.
Stewart on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stewart swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stewart fails to pull guard.
Stewart blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Aladeen prevents a body shot from Stewart.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stewart.

Stewart jumps guard and drags Aladeen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Aladeen is looking to stand up but Stewart won't let him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stewart is on top in guard.

Stewart tries to free his leg and advance position but Aladeen is retaining full guard.

Aladeen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stewart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aladeen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stewart is looking to pass into half guard but Aladeen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Aladeen is in guard.

Stewart is looking for a triangle but Aladeen pushes his legs off easily.
Aladeen wants to get up but he can't break Stewart's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Aladeen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Aladeen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stewart knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stewart can't do much from the bottom here.

Aladeen stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Stewart connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stewart takes a swing at Aladeen's ribcage but misses.
Aladeen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stewart.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stewart throws a head kick but Aladeen moves out of range.
Haffaz Aladeen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Aladeen slips a jab from Stewart.
Stewart has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Aladeen finds it's way round the side to connect with Stewart's head.
Stewart throws a sloppy head kick and Aladeen moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Haffaz Aladeen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Stewart connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Aladeen's hands.

Stewart closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Aladeen quickly recovers to half guard.
Stewart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aladeen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stewart throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stewart is pressing down on Aladeen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Aladeen is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stewart working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Aladeen gets back to full guard.
Stewart trying to control but Aladeen is working from the bottom.

Aladeen won't allow Stewart to pass to mount.
Stewart is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Aladeen suckers Stewart into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Aladeen is now in Stewart's guard!

Stewart wants to clinch up but Aladeen keeps it at a distance.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stewart checks a leg kick.
Aladeen throws a low kick, looking for Stewart's leg but Stewart calmly moves out of range.

Stewart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aladeen to the mat! Aladeen manages to get full guard.

Stewart is looking to work some ground and pound but Aladeen has wrist control.
Archie Stewart has got the better of the ground game so far.
Stewart throws a strike but Aladeen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Aladeen wants to get up but he can't break Stewart's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aladeen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stewart is proving hard to escape from.

Aladeen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stewart has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aladeen has managed to get both his arms back between Stewart's legs - danger averted.

Stewart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aladeen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Aladeen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Archie Stewart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A big left from Stewart misses.
Stewart shoots in for a double leg but Aladeen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Stewart throws a leg kick but Aladeen sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Aladeen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stewart moves away.

Good leg kick by Aladeen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stewart tries to clinch there but Aladeen circles away.

Aladeen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Haffaz Aladeen is winning the standup battle so far.
Stewart avoids the body shot from Aladeen.
Stewart lands a nice shot that snaps Aladeen's head back.
Aladeen throws a nice inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stewart wants to clinch up but Aladeen keeps it at a distance.
Aladeen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Stewart takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Aladeen thows a body kick. Stewart tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Aladeen jabs Stewart right on the nose. Stewart blinks but takes it well.
Aladeen cracks Stewart with an open hand slap.
Aladeen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Stewart shoots in but Aladeen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Haffaz Aladeen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Archie Stewart.

Aladeen scores with a hook.
Aladeen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Aladeen misses with a looping right.
Aladeen tries to clinch up.

Stewart walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Aladeen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The fighters circling - Stewart throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stewart dives in and grabs Aladeen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aladeen pushes down on Stewart's head and hops out.
Aladeen clobbers Stewart with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Aladeen throws a jab when Stewart was well out of range.
Aladeen is looking to land body kicks.

Stewart manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aladeen on his heels. He'll look to pass Aladeen's guard now, I'm sure.
Stewart takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stewart scoring with punches to the head and body.
Stewart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aladeen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
