The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Aldo misses with a wild combination.
Aldo leaves Goodman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Goodman counters with a head kick that drops Aldo to the mat! Aldo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Aldo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Goodman wants to clinch up but Aldo keeps it at a distance.
Goodman fails with a takedown attempt.
Goodman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Aldo is still in real trouble! Can Goodman finish him?
Aldo looks winded!
Goodman wants to control but Aldo is keeping him busy.
Aldo seems to have recovered his senses.
Goodman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Aldo's head.
Goodman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goodman wants to take a breather but Aldo is having none of it.
Goodman decides to stand up.
Aldo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Goodman counters with a flying knee that drops Aldo! Goodman dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Goodman!
